All dogs that board with us are asked to come in for a temperament test. Why? This helps ensure that this is the best place for your dog AND that they acclimate with the environment and humans before spending the night. This helps them be their most comfortable with us for their overnight visits.

Want to know a secret? Your dog isn’t going to miss you. Well not as much as you miss them. Their day is filled with human affection, playful romps with other pups and enriching activities. Feel like they never left your side with our live webcams and daily report cards.
Running out of favors from your family and friends to come let your dogs out?
*Dogs over 7 months of age must be neutered and up to date on Rabies, Bordetella and DAPP.
Bring your pup at your selected time for their first day. We will text you half way through to let you know how they are doing. Follow along with their day on our live webcams or catch a glimpse of them on our social media.

No dog left behind means that when your dog stays overnight with us it INCLUDES that they will spend their day in group play. That snuggles are never extras and pictures and live webcams are at your fingertips. You won't see a luxury suite with TV’s at J.Tails. What you will see is enrichment activities to keep their brain working, and positive reinforcement that comes in the form of treats and praises.
Most of all, you will see a team of humans that will sit on the floor petting your dog and ensuring they feel loved.

All dogs enjoy a routine of:
Indoor/Outdoor Play 7 AM–12 PM
Nap Time 12 PM–2:00 PM,
Indoor/Outdoor Play 2 PM–4 PM
Brush Out 4 PM–4:15 PM
Go Home Time 4:30 PM–7 PM.
We have toys, interactive objects and pools to keep them entertained throughout the day. For dogs that are with us for a half day (less than 5 hours), they do not participate in nap time.
So, what does my dog do all day?
Yes, each additional pup will enjoy 20% off their daycare. If boarding together in same kennel, second pup is only charged for price of daycare. Play around with our estimator when booking in your pet parent login.
Do you offer discounts for multiple dogs?
We provide all pups staying with us with lots of love and fun, but they also have in their townhouse bowls, raised cot and blankets. We welcome toys, personal bedding or items. As for food, it’s best that your dog continues their at home diet, we ask that it be brought in a ziplock bag for easy storage during their stay. Don’t forgot our boarding add-ons, such as puzzles and ice creams.
My pup will be boarding, what should I bring?
The live webcams can be viewed in your pet parent portal when your pup is checked in with us. Drop down menu>Photos/Videos>Live Webcams. Happy stalking!
How do I watch the live webcams?

We offer early drop off or late pick up by request for a fee of $5 for every 15 minutes, with as early as 6:30 am and as late as 7:15 pm. If this isn’t applicable, we also offer shuttle services within 10 minutes of Barkyard. For shuttle services we drive your pet to or from Barkyard for $9. We give you a lockbox for your key to kept in. We also try to be flexible if you’re needing to pick up a little before or after a drop off period, just let us know asap and we will be happy to help.
I need to drop off or pick up outside of your open times.

Will my dog be kenneled?
Yes! We believe that kennels give dogs a safe space for rest. We have a few always open on the play floor for any dogs wanting a break. During nap time (12-2 pm), we put all dogs up in a kennel with the lights low and soft music. We use kennels that are size appropriate for the dog. If you prefer your dog to not be in a kennel, we do offer half days where dogs do not participate in nap times.
What do weekends look like?
Your dog will participate in our Saturday daycare from 8 am - 1 pm, then to their house for a rest. A human will return at 5 pm for evening playtime and dinner. Sundays are the biggest day of rest to prep for the upcoming week. Your dog will head outside around 7:30 am for group play and potty and return to their house at 9 am for their breakfast. They have another group play/potty at ~1 pm for an hour. Their day ends with a group play session from 5 pm - 6 pm followed by dinner in their house.
*Holidays- Group play/potty ~7:30-9:30 am, 1 pm -2 pm, 5pm - 6 pm.
M-F: 7 AM - 10 AM, 12 PM - 2 PM, 4:30 PM - 7 PM.
Sat: 8 AM - 10 AM, 12 PM - 1 PM, 5 PM - 6 PM
Sun: 8 AM - 9 AM, 5 PM - 6 PM
*Double check for holidays. No pick up or drop off on: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Day.
What are your available pickup and drop off times?
We will try our best to reach out to you. If we are unable to connect we will inform you of the next available pick up window. This could mean that your dog is set up in a size appropriate kennel overnight and depending on circumstances, extra charges will be incurred, including food and boarding.
What happens if I miss pickup?
We do not have any humans who spend the night. All dogs are put in their houses with their food and water, a raised cot (with bedding if allowed) and any toys brought from home. Light ambient dog music is left on and all lights are turned off to help facilitate rest. Daycare can be a fun atmosphere but also tiring. We find that creating a cozy kennel where they can retreat alone provides the best reprieve after a fun filled day.
